Medication can be a useful part of treatment for anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, attention concerns, and other psychiatric symptoms. My approach is careful, individualized, and collaborative: we review symptoms, history, medical factors, prior medication responses, side effects, and your goals before deciding whether medication is appropriate. When medication is used, the goal is to use the fewest medications necessary, at the lowest effective dose, while continuing to reassess what is helping and what is no longer needed.
